Resonance Cascade

A Resonance Cascade is a dangerous quantum event that can create a rift between two universes.

Overview

All things have a set quantum resonance. Artificially creating a resonating quantum field with enough power can cause the superstrings in other materials to become openeded. When this happen space time rips cauing rifts to form. This will only happen if it is resonating at the same frequency as the object. This event is very rare as it required tremendous amounts of power to create a Quantum Field with enough power to do that. Despite this, certain materials can create resonance cascades very easily. The rift that opens floods our universe with radiation and energy that sometimes can be harnessed. Most of the time this is dangerous as if they become to big they can create a black hole. They can also cause rifts between two universes allowing beings to travel between them.

Usage

Photogen Crystals are very good at being resonated. In Plasma Domes, mini resonance cascades are created to harness the natural energy that pours out of them. These singularities must be kept small to prevent damage to space time and the creation of a black hole.

The Legoland Incident

During season x, a resonance cascade was created at Sector C causing alien beings from the border world Xen to come through. A Resonance Reversal was needed to fix this. For more information visit the episode.
